Young Playwright Competition*
RULES AND GUIDELINES
The play submitted must be:
- Full-length (more than one act)
- Stage play
- Non-musical
- Original
- In English
- Not previously professionally produced or published
- Written by a high school, college, or university student in the state of New Hampshire, Maine or Vermont
- Received by June 1, 2008
By submitting your play, you agree, if your play is the winner, to have The Little Church Theater produce your play as part of their summer season in 2008.
The winner will also receive author credit and recognition in the play advertising and programs, $250 cash, up to four tickets to the opening night performance, one hotel room at the Squam Lake Inn for opening night (or the cash equivalent), and money for gas mileage in exchange for production rights.

The Little Church Theater is a community theater in the town of Holderness, NH. Our purpose is to initiate, develop and offer programs, events and instruction in theater, music, dance, art, literature, crafts, cooking and recreation in order to enrich, educate, entertain and empower the people of Holderness and the surrounding municipalities.
We are looking for touching, heart-warming humorous plays that can be enjoyed by the entire community, but we are open to all types of drama.
